Faculty - Practical Nursing

Summary Each full-time professor is responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of lecture and laboratory-based learning experiences as appropriate to the discipline. Professors develop, evaluate, and revise the curriculum to incorporate or expand on evidence-based learning activities aligned with the established course and program learning outcomes. Professors monitor and assess student performance based on established grading guidelines and assessment protocols. In addition, professors serve on institutional committees as assigned and participate in college activities, including student activities, student organizations, and other college-sponsored events. Professors are expected to respond to students appropriately, professionally, and in a timely manner and to provide additional assistance to students outside of regularly scheduled class time to promote student success.
