Overview
There is an attractive opportunity for a full-service family physician who will provide clinic care, in-hospital care, ER and obstetrical care, to work with a dynamic family medicine group with a reputation of providing excellent, evidence-based, patient-focused care. ER coverage on a rotational basis is required.
About the facility
The Melfort Hospital is a 31-bed facility providing the area’s residents with all manners of health care services. Primary acute care and some non-primary acute care services are provided from the hospital and include Medicine, Obstetrics, Surgery, Outreach, Chemotherapy, High Acuity Unit and Emergency. A wide variety of skilled staff is available including a Diabetic Nurse Educator, Mental Health Workers, a General Surgeon, etc. Visiting Consultants and Allied Health Services hold clinics within the facility and Visiting Specialists provide in-office surgery.
