As an FASD Mentor Program Specialist, you'll collaborate with the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Coordinator to provide direct mentoring to women struggling with addictions. Your role involves evaluating client needs, facilitating access to resources, and ensuring emotional support during critical times, such as pregnancy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate a supportive mentoring environment for clients
• Advocate for women during their pregnancy journeys
• Assist clients in developing personalized action plans
• Evaluate mentoring progress every four months
• Help access community resources and services
Requirements:
• Valid Manitoba Driver's Licence required
• CPR and First Aid Certification essential
