Field Application Engineer

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible for equipment setup, commissioning and debugging for optical communication testing equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, bit error rate tester, etc.)
• Handle equipment delivery, installation, buy-off and provide technical support at customer site
• Provide feedback to R&D team on improvement points, customer feedback and on-site issues
• Maintain close communication with customer engineers and record any change requests
• Conduct technical training for customers on equipment operation
• Handle equipment troubleshooting, abnormal issue resolution and after-sales service
• Work location based in Malaysia with frequent overseas travel to USA, Taiwan and Thailand.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automation or related disciplines)
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise with headquarters, along with good command o...
