ERM is hiring Junior Field Archaeologists to join our global consulting firm as part of our archaeology and cultural heritage team in Vancouver and the surrounding area, Smithers, BC, or Whitehorse, YT. The successful candidate will work with our team to complete archaeological field surveys. This is a full-time, limited-term role for a duration of 9 months, renewable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee field studies , lead field reconnaissance, field surveys, and excavation for archaeological studies.Visually inspecting the land surface for presence of archaeological and historic built resources.Compliance with corporate Health and Safety requirements.Performing other duties as assigned or required.Represent ERM through communications and at meetings with provincial/territorial and federal agencies.REQUIREMENTS:
