Symphony Nova Scotia is hiring a Part-time Finance Coordinator.
The Finance Coordinator is a key member of the administrative team, supporting and directly reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The Finance Coordinator is responsible for all bookkeeping functions, payroll and payment processing, and account reconciliations. The Finance Coordinator supports the COO with financial analysis, reporting, and audit preparation.
About You
- have 5+ years experience as a controller, internal accountant or high-level bookkeeper with responsibility for both data entry and financial analysis
- have a diploma or degree in accounting or a related field
- have extensive experience with both data entry and big-picture analysis
- be fully proficient with Sage accounting software
- have a strong working knowledge of payroll systems, benefit plans, and Office 365
- be very comfortable in a digital environment
