Job Description
An established and esteemed recreational club located on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for an immediate-start temporary assignment. This is a hands-on role supporting business-as-usual finance operations during a period of transition.
Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, ensuring continuity, accuracy, and reliable reporting across the contract period.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close, journals, accruals, and balance sheet integrity
- Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and cashflow updates
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations (BAS, GST, payroll tax, etc.)
- Act as a key finance contact for internal stakeholders and external advisors
