Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for certain competitive service positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the financial management advisor on matters relating to assigned portfolio activities in USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility (AOR). Responsibilities Serves as primary financial advisor, providing expert guidance, advice, and recommendations on financial matters, policies, and regulations for assigned portfolio programs. Develops and implements internal controls and procedures to ensure proper funds management and execution of appropriations, preventing over-obligation or misuse of funds.
