Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Finish Grinder to work second shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Set-up and tend Grinding Machines to grind various cutting inserts with materials such as PCD, PCBN, Carbide, and Ceramic
- Operate machine tools such as manual and CNC Grinders to produce parts
- Follow instructions and charts during grinding procedure
- Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job
- Determine grinding speeds and feed rates, fixturing, and grinding wheel to be used
- Use manual and computer-controlled machinery, write basic programs, and modify programs in response to problems
- Perform other duties as required
