Join Aecon as the Fleet Operations Manager for the Darlington New Nuclear Project in Clarington, Ontario. This vital role focuses on ensuring vehicle and equipment readiness for a large-scale construction initiative.
In this role, you will lead all fleet management activities for the project, coordinating maintenance and repairs while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Your expertise will guide project teams in equipment utilization, budgeting, and procurement decisions that align with project goals. Regular communication with facility teams and equipment vendors will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct fleet maintenance and safety programs
• Perform inspections on rented and owned equipment
• Analyze costs and equipment utilization reports
• Mentor drivers and support fleet staff development
• Maintain data records in SAP and associated systems
