As a Forestry Assistant, you will support the operational delivery of Conifex’s harvesting program while gaining exposure to planning and silviculture activities. This is a hands‑on role that combines field‑based operational work with office coordination and data management. Working closely with harvesting, planners, and silviculture staff, this position helps ensure safe, efficient forestry operations while supporting long‑term forest management objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: A University Degree or Technical Diploma in Forestry or Natural Resource Management. Candidates who are RPF, RFT, or eligible for registration with the Forest Professionals of British Columbia are preferred.
- Experience: Forestry experience in areas such as harvesting, cruising, planning, or silviculture is considered an asset. Candidates with 2+ years of forestry experience are preferred, although applicants with less experience ...
