Job Description
Matrix HR is seeking experienced Concrete Formwork Carpenters for commercial and infrastructure projects in Halifax. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Doka, Peri, or Aluma formwork systems, rebar installation, and concrete work.
Duties:
- Construct, erect, and dismantle formwork panels with precision.
- Install and tie rebar according to project specifications.
- Assist with concrete placement and finishing as needed.
- Ensure all work meets blueprints, structural plans, and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a formwork carpenter on concrete projects.
- Proficient with Doka, Peri, or Aluma systems and rebar installation.
- Ability to read plans and drawings accurately.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights or in demanding environments.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and commitment to safety.
