Freelance Mid-Level Video Editor

We are looking for a Mid-Level Video Editor who understands why great movie trailers work—from structure and escalation to sound design and emotional payoff. You will independently edit projects and actively use generative AI to enhance speed, creativity, and production value.

You should be comfortable turning a brief into a polished, trailer-style video that grabs attention in the first few seconds.

Responsibilities
*Edit cinematic videos inspired by movie trailers, promos, and teasers
*Design trailer-style pacing: hooks, build-ups, drops, and climaxes
*Use generative AI to create or enhance:
-Visual sequences, environments, and transitions
-AI-assisted motion graphics and effects
*Select and design music, sound effects, and audio transitions
*Collaborate with creative and marketing teams on storytelling direction
*Optimize edits for different platforms while preserving cinematic impact
