GCP Cloud Architect

Location: 100% Remote

Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Lead cloud architecture assessments under Google RaMP framework.

Evaluate existing cloud deployments and provide modernization recommendations.

Build assessment artefacts including architecture diagrams, target-state views, and gap analyses.

Work closely with security, networking, and data SMEs to deliver holistic recommendations.

Support PoCs for modernization, resiliency, and migration pathways.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

8+ years in cloud architecture; 5+ years in GCP preferred.

Strong expertise in Compute, Storage, GKE, VPC, IAM, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions.

Experience conducting cloud maturity assessments or cloud governance reviews.

GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred.
