GP Conversion Programme – IMG Rural Programme (Ireland)
Pathway: General Registration → Specialist GP Registration
We are recruiting established GPs and doctors with recent, comparable GP experience to join a structured conversion programme in rural Ireland. This programme enables doctors to convert from General Registration to Specialist GP registration with the Irish Medical Council.
Key Requirements
- ✔️ Medical degree eligible for Irish Medical Council registration
- ✔️ South African internship completed from 2006 onwards (2-year internship)
- ✔️ Minimum 36 months GP experience
- Cruise ship medical experience accepted
- ✔️ Established GP or strong recent GP-equivalent experience
Role
- Work 3, 4 or 5 days per week in a clinic
