Main duties of the job

We are looking for a salaried GP to join our team between The Oaks Medical Centre and Blackwood Health Centre. You will work as part of a well‑functioning team consisting of GPs, ANPs, paramedics, nurses, HCAs, and back‑office staff. Each day is led by an experienced on‑call GP whose role is purely supervisory and supportive.

The practice has a family feel but values structure, recognition, and development for its staff. Sessions are available at multiple sites throughout the week.

Job responsibilities

The post‑holder will manage a clinical caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, delivering a high standard of clinical care to patients registered at the GP practice.

To work autonomously, the GP must provide medical services to the population, comply with the GMS contract, maintain GMC standards for good medical practice, and contribute to effective practice management. They will le...
