Job Description
Oversee mine production schedules as the Mine Scheduling General Supervisor for Agnico Eagle's Macassa Mine. Your leadership will enhance strategic planning and safety compliance.
Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, you will support the Engineering Department by developing and executing mine production schedules. Your role will ensure alignment of operational targets across various planning horizons and focus on optimizing production efficiency while adhering to safety and budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead weekly and 3-month execution planning efforts
• Produce and maintain the Life of Mine schedule
• Collaborate with Maintenance to integrate plans
• Support annual budget and cost forecasts
• Guide operational execution and sequencing decisions
Requirements:
• Degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• P.Eng designation preferred
• 6-10 years’ experience in underground mining
