About the Community
Skownan School is a Nursery to Grade 9 facility with 120 students, 10 teaching staff and 17 support staff located in Skownan, approximately one and a half hours northeast of Dauphin. Local amenities include a gas bar, convenience store, restaurant, and a health centre. Hunting, fishing and eco-tourism are all vital drivers for the local economy. Divisional housing is available in the community.
