Role
The Grid Connection Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire grid connection process for Sonnedix’s renewable energy projects in Spain and Portugal, ensuring the successful and compliant integration of renewable energy plants into the electrical grid. The role involves managing all technical and regulatory requirements, maintaining close relationships with DSOs and TSOs, and navigating the approval processes needed for each project.
A key focus of this position will be supporting the Engineering team and Project Managers, particularly in the design and construction of electrical substations (SE) and high‑voltage transmission lines (AT). The Grid Connection Manager will collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to address grid integration challenges, streamline project timelines, and ensure that all grid‑related requirements are fully embedded throughout project development and execution.
