Job Description
Become a valued Home Care Attendant with the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority. This position focuses on delivering personal and supportive care to help clients stay independent at home.
In this role, you will work under the direction of the Home Care Resource Coordinator as part of a multidisciplinary team. Your main duties will involve following care plans, ensuring effective communication with clients and families, and promoting an integrated approach to health care. Be ready to demonstrate your excellent organizational skills while catering to varying shifts and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow care plans to provide personal and supportive care
• Promote integrated holistic health services in the community
• Communicate calmly with clients and their families
• Demonstrate critical thinking in addressing client requirements
• Respect clients' comfort, privacy, and dignity
Requirements:
• Completion of a Health Care Aide Certificate
