Head Chef - Care Home
Location: Watton, Norfolk
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare high-quality meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
- Create varied and nutritious menus.
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team.
- Manage stock, food orders, and kitchen budgets.
- Ensure high standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness.
- Minimise food waste and maintain an organised kitchen.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Experience managing and training kitchen staff.
- Understanding of special diets and nutritional requirements.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Catering or equivalent (desirable).
