Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for site‑specific safety orientation, job site inspections and accident/incident reports
• Monitor employees and subcontractors on site to ensure compliance with safety procedures and escalate issues to resolution
• Proactively identify and prevent hazardous situations and take necessary measures to correct them
• Organize and conduct training programs including WHMIS, Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment, CPR/First Aid
• Create, maintain, and educate all site staff on maintaining a safety‑first culture
• Review subcontractors’ pre‑construction safety submittals
• Review and file subcontractors’ weekly safety documentation
• Effectively compile weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly project health and safety statistics

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ construction safety experience (preferably on Civil Bridges, Infrastructure or ICI ...
