Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and proceduresParticipate in daily safety meetings, hazard assessments, and toolbox talksAdhere to ground disturbance and permitting requirements prior to excavationIdentify and report hazards, incidents, and near missesPromote a strong safety culture and continuous improvementOperate heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, zoom boom, skid steer, compactors)Perform excavation, grading, backfilling, and material handlingConduct pre-use inspections and basic equipment maintenance checksExecute work according to drawings, specifications, and quality standardsAssist with layout verification and ensure adherence to tolerancesEnsure work meets project specifications and quality requirementsConfirm completed work supports downstream construction activities
