Job Description

About the Role

  • You will be based at our Yate Depot, Dean Road, Great Western Business Park, BS37 5ND.
  • You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 06:45am to 15:15pm, with overtime available
  • You will be earning a salary of £34,417 per year (£16.49 per hour) plus £2,000 retention bonus
  • You’ll be required to work Easter Bank Holidays. For all other bank holidays, you’ll work the following Saturday instead

    • Overtime rates:

  • 1.5x pay Monday – Saturday
  • 2x pay on Bank Holidays, plus a day in lieu


    • What will I be doing?

  • Delivering a reliable, high-quality service to residents
  • Always working to strict health & safety standards

    • You’ll primarily operate Romaquip vehicles, with RCVs (Refuse Collection Vehicles) as required giving you variety in your day-to-day work.

  • Class 2 (Category C) licence, valid CPC card and Tachograph...
