Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities

• To work with students, parents, teachers and outside agencies on matters related to student welfare, thereby encouraging positive behaviour and attitudes to student learning.
• Ensure the school is adequately resourced to provide effective cover, supervision and arrangements for lessons.
• To work under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher, to implement planning.
• Complement the professional work of the teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities.
• Deliver planned lessons in line with the school curriculum for students in Key Stages 2-4.
