Job Description
Work with LINK 427 as a Highway Emergency Response Operator. This temporary role focuses on road safety through patrolling and emergency management duties.
Located in Etobicoke, ON, this 12-month position entails patrolling highways and responding to emergencies such as accidents and hazardous weather. The ideal candidate will have prior winter operations experience, a DZ License, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce a Safety-First operation for all staff
• Manage emergency situations and liaise with authorities
• Conduct inspections and report deficiencies clearly
• Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment mandates
• Document daily operations and maintain logs
Requirements:
• Required DZ License for operating vehicles
• Experience with snow and ice control preferred
• Understanding of highway maintenance protocols an asset
• Strong communication skills required
