We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant for Poets Mews Care Home in Somerset. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, laundry, and general housekeeping standards to support residents and staff.
Shift Details
8am – 4:30pm, alternate weekends.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
- Understand cleaning requirements of surfaces and coverings; use appropriate cleaning materials.
- Maintain well‑presented areas, ensuring they remain in good condition.
- Treat all residents with dignity and respect, guarding personal space and belongings.
- Operate according to the standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, including moving & handling, fire safety, CO S H H.
- Experience cleaning laundry in a public setting.
