Drive safety compliance as an HSE Coordinator focusing on the Bird Safety Program, based in Petawawa, Ontario. Secret-level II security clearance is essential for this role.
As the HSE Coordinator, your key responsibility will be to oversee and administer the Bird Safety Program, ensuring all health and safety standards are met across trades and subcontractors. With experience in health and safety, you will conduct risk assessments, lead onboarding processes, and deliver vital training sessions. You will also collaborate closely with project teams to integrate safety into project planning effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce health and safety standards for site operations
• Manage onboarding and training for subcontractors
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure management measures
• Deliver training sessions and safety meetings
• Perform site inspections to verify safety compliance
Requirements:
• Certificate or degree in Occupational Health & Safety
