HVAC Systems Engineer

Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a HVAC Systems Engineer on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh based engineering consultant. Position Description:-Perform site investigation to document the existing condition of mechanical systems within the project area.-Perform heating and cooling load calculations based on the project requirements.-Review code requirements that are associated with the project and adapt the mechanical system design accordingly.-Write project specifications, engineering studies, and other summary reports.-Utilize CAD to draw mechanical systems to suit the project requirements.-Review of construction submittal documents that are associated with the project.-Perform construction site review and write project construction reports ('punch lists').
Required Qualifications:-Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Design.-Five (5) or more years of relevant experience-Proficient with Microsoft Office products.-Good verbal and written communication skills.-...
