Job Description
Our client is seeking an Import Export Manager to join their team in Mason, MI where they manufacture food and beverage packaging products.
This person manages the import/export process to ensure compliance with the export/import laws and regulations in all countries where the company does business while ensuring expeditious flow of international shipments.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport Transportation Procurement Manager for annual Ocean contract renewals for U.S. and Canada, as well as changes to external PO Management 3rd party site Provide cost analysis to the organization for international ocean transportation lanes for U.S. and Canada Process payment of some transportation and customs brokerage charges for U.S. and Canada Manage multi-departmental team on export/import and trade agreement issues to mitigate risk, integrate proper processes across business functions and locations, and identify opportuniti...
