Lead the Infection Control program as an Infection Control Manager at Extendicare. Focus on compliance, resident satisfaction, and team engagement in this full-time position.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Infection Control Manager ensures adherence to infection prevention and control standards. This role requires leading a dedicated team, providing comprehensive IPAC education, and overseeing effective audits. Through data analysis and proactive measures, you'll enhance the safety and satisfaction of residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the IPAC program for the home
• Lead and educate the IPAC team and stakeholders
• Conduct regular audits and maintain compliance
• Implement Extendicare's IPAC policies and procedures
• Convene outbreak team meetings and monitor surveillance

• IPAC certification and experience in long-term care
• Minimum of three years in a managerial role
