Description of Role
Reporting to the Value Stream Manager/Quality Engineer, the Skilled Inspector will be responsible for ensuring all Delivered parts have been Manufactured, Processed, Inspected, Packed & Released in accordance with all Customer, Ext.Body Accreditation (AS9100) and Internal Requirements and are 100% Conforming.
Main Duties
- Interpretation of Blueprints and Inspection of complex Aerospace components using 1st Principles, Inspection Equipment and CMMs
- Prove out of new product and pass off prior to batch production including correlation of CMM results by independent means.
- Running of CMMs and interpretation of results.
- Completion of FAI reports to AS9100 requirements using Visual FAI software.
- Completion of MSA /R & R studies and interpretation of results.
- Creation of QAD documents defining in process checks to operational staff.
