Your Opportunity:
The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is responsible for providing and facilitating education, based on adult education principles, for staff within a specific department/program area to ensure that clinical competencies and organizational standards/practices are maintained.The CNE uses the principles of adult learning to assess staff educational and professional development needs, and to plan, implement and evaluate educational initiatives for staff. The CNE facilitates, coordinates, and supports the implementation of education initiatives for orientation, mandatory education, in-service, and continuing education programming; and for changes in policy, procedure, protocols, and technology to promote clinical competence of staff.
