Instrument technician: plant

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To safely design, install, fault, find, repair and maintain instrumentation and IT equipment and infrastructure.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 is essential Instrumentation Trade Certificate and NQF 5 Certificate is essential OR Instrumentation/Electrical Engineer Diploma (NQF 6 equivalent) is essential 3 years Instrument Mechanician experience or practical's complemented Higher Learning Qualification if from University of Technology Valid Medical Certificate is essential or be medically fit to obtain such a certificate
