About the Role
As an Integration Engineer, you will be the backbone of our Kafka and messaging infrastructure. Your focus will be on the end-to-end lifecycle of our clusters—from initial build and scaling to patching and performance tuning. You'll work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure our integration platforms are secure, stable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the engineering, setup, and scaling of Apache Kafka clusters.
Manage and maintain IBM MQ, IBM ACE, MeshIQ, and Stonebranch File Transfer systems.
Drive environment stability through proactive patching and vulnerability remediation.
Optimize infrastructure costs and perform deep-dive troubleshooting for complex incidents.
Automate repetitive tasks using Python, Shell, or Ansible to improve operational efficiency.
Participate in an on-call rotation (including weekends) to support mission-critical systems.
