Audit Planning and Risk Assessment

• Assist in developing audit programs and workpapers aligned with Australian Standards on Auditing (ASA) requirements.
• Perform risk assessment procedures, including preliminary analytical reviews and internal control documentation.
• Identify and document key audit risks and controls relevant to significant account balances.
• Develop a working knowledge of the client's operations, structure, industry, and key risks.
• Tailor audit procedures based on understanding of client's business and systems.

Execution of Audit Procedures

• Perform detailed substantive testing of financial statement balances (e.g., cash, fixed assets) and transactions (e.g., revenue, payroll).
• Execute tests of controls where reliance is intended.
• Prepare and document audit working papers with clear referencing, support, conclusions and complies with ASA and firm methodology.
