Internal - Temporary RECE/DA Before & After School Educator
Temporary Before and After Educator (contract ending June 26, 2026)
Temporary, Part time
Location: Viola Desmond Centre, 50 Secord Dr, Hamilton, ON L8K 3W7. Total Hours per Week: 27.75. Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00am-9:00am and 2:45pm-6:00pm.
Pay Rate (per Collective Agreement, includes wage grants): Non RECE: $26.35 per hour , RECE: $28.90 per hour .
About the Role
As a Before and After School Educator, your primary responsibility is to be present for children and their families while developing and implementing programs that meet their developmental needs and interests. You will create meaningful play experiences, provide healthy snacks, supervise outdoor and indoor activities, and ensure the safety and well‑being of children in your care.
