The automotive industry generates significant amounts of plastic waste, much of which is challenging to recycle efficiently due to the diversity of materials and the presence of hard-to-identify plastics. This internship at TNO Circular Plastics focuses on developing advanced machine learning methods, combined with spectroscopy, to improve the sorting and recycling of automotive plastics.
