Job Description
The main purpose of the internship is to provide practical experience and exposure to the processes involved in acquiring goods, managing vendor relationships, and handling invoicing procedures within for the Vienna International Center Commissary.
Functions / Key Results Expected
Perform analyses on sales performance, procurement patterns and assortment optimization, for example proposing de-listing of low runners and new potential introductions.
Perform market research on potential new listings and suppliers and monitor market prices.
Investigate listing opportunities coming from product suggestions or special orders.
Support the Procurement team with processing purchase orders, ensuring compliance with Commissary rules and procedures.
Support the Invoice Control team with monitoring and processing invoices, credit notes, declarations, tax exemption and customs documents.
