Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management & Accuracy:
- Oversee daily inventory operations, ensuring all stock movements (incoming and outgoing) are accurately recorded.
- Coordinate and lead regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and stockouts.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and schedule a team of inventory control specialists or warehouse clerks.
- Enforce safety protocols and warehouse operational policies.
- Process Optimization:
- Maintain and optimize the Inventory Management System (IMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Analyze inventory turnover rates and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Implement best practices to reduce shrinkage, waste, and storage costs.
