Overview
The Group Head takes ultimate ownership, focuses on strategy, external and senior stakeholder engagement, and provides independent assurance at the highest levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation of the IT Audit Group Strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise risks, digital transformation initiatives, and regulatory expectations. (Strategy, long-term vision)
- Develop the annual Group-wide IT Audit Plan based on technology risk assessments, emerging threats, and business priorities. (Final plan approval, risk alignment)
- Provide independent assurance to the Audit Committee and Board on IT governance, cybersecurity posture, resilience, and compliance. (Highest level assurance)
- Present key findings, risk, audit results, control gaps, and remediation progress to senior leadership and the Board. (Executive communication)
