Java Software Engineer

A leading multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund is seeking an ambitious Java Developer to join its London office. You will work closely with a senior developer to design, build, and maintain the risk and pricing systems used daily across the firm’s trading desks.

This role offers strong exposure to front-office technology, with systems directly supporting live trading and portfolio risk management in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Requirements

• Strong academic background, Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science
• 3+ years of professional experience with Java
• Solid knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and JVM performance tuning
• Experience working with databases (SQL preferred) and data-intensive applications
