- Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, patch, and upgrade SQL Server database instances and associated software.
- Performance Monitoring & Tuning: Proactively monitor database system health and performance, identify bottlenecks, optimize slow-running queries, and manage indexes and server configurations.
- Backup & Recovery: Design, implement, manage, and test backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity, availability, and business continuity.
- Security & Access Control: Implement and manage security measures, control user access permissions and privileges, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, data privacy laws).
- Disaster Recovery (DR): Implement and manage DR solutions, replication, or clustering, to maximize uptime.
