The Junior Accountant: The successful candidate will support the team in performing daily reconciliations, processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month‑end close activities. This role is well‑suited to a recent graduate or someone who has recently completed or is currently completing their articles, and who is eager to build their career in a dynamic, fast‑paced fintech and payments environment.
Duties and Responsibilities 1. Reconciliations Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, payment partner accounts, and balance sheet accounts. Identify, investigate, and elevate reconciling items promptly to the Team Lead. Ensure no reconciling items remain unresolved beyond 48 hours. 2. Transaction Processing & Capturing Accurately capture and process financial transactions in SAP and other relevant systems.
