Location: Hamilton Craft Studios, Hamilton, ON Employment Type: Seasonal — early-career / first-job opportunity Dates: July 6 - 24 + August 10 - 28, 2026 (active camp weeks) Hours: 30hrs per week Compensation: $18.45 / hr
Hamilton Craft Studios is hiring Junior Counsellors to support our Summer Craft Camp for children ages 7 - 12. This is a great early‑career or first‑job opportunity for a young person who loves working with kids, is curious about art and making, and wants to build experience in teamwork, communication, and youth programming.
Junior Counsellors work alongside our Camp Leaders, Artist Instructors, and Counsellors to help campers stay safe, included, and engaged throughout the day. You'll get hands‑on experience in a creative studio environment, supportive mentorship from experienced staff, and a written reference at the end of the summer.
