About this position Kraken Robotics is a company that builds technology for deep ocean environments. The Junior Electrical Engineer will design mission‑critical electronics for next‑generation ocean technologies. The role reports to the Engineering Manager, Newfoundland.
What you’ll work on
Design of mixed‑signal PCBs and embedded electrical systems for subsea robotics and sensing platforms.
Design of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for electrical systems, considering signal integrity, thermal management, and EMC/EMI compliance.
Contribute to the architecture of electrical systems spanning power, signal integrity, and embedded control.
Assist in developing and validating designs for extreme environments (pressure, temperature, EMI).
Collaborate closely with mechanical, firmware, and systems engineers to deliver fully integrated products.
