Junior Traffic Controller

Job Purpose To perform and provide support to transport team and to the Head of the Department. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for updating new and existing job tasks in the fleet management system based on customers delivery requests/ exceptions Manage stakeholders' queries (e.g. Drivers, Customers, Ops, Sales, etc) Plan and optimize transportation routes for fleet operations using the TMS, considering traffic conditions, vehicle capacity, and delivery schedules. Monitor real-time fleet updates and proactively adjust route plans to minimize delays, optimize fuel efficiency, and meet delivery deadlines. Receive transportation requests and dispatch prime mover drivers to assigned pick-up and delivery locations using the TMS. Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and logistics partners to prioritize and schedule transportation activities based on urgency and demand.
