Job Description
Our Kitchen Assistants support our Chef Manager in the preparation of meals and beverages and participate in the overall maintenance of a safe and hygienic environment. They provide a professional, efficient and prompt service to patients, visitors, staff and volunteers at all times.
28 hours (alternate weekends) salary £18,506 plus 30% enhancement for Saturdays and 60% for Sundays.
Hours 7‑hour shifts (9 am to 4 pm weekdays; 8 am to 3 pm weekends).
Holiday 25 days (increasing to 27 after 5 years and 31 after 9 years) + public holidays (FTE).
Responsibilities
- Cooperate with the Chef Manager regarding compliance with all food safety and health & safety legislation, rules, regulations and guidelines.
