Kitchen Assistant – Part Time
Location: Middlesex Manor Care Home, 119 Harrow Road, Middlesex, Wembley, HA9 6DQ.
Salary: £12.75 – £13.37 per hour. Permanent part‑time contract – 24 hours per week. Working hours: 7 am – 7 pm.
Job Description
Assist in kitchen operations to deliver quality dining experiences for residents. Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents, assist chefs in plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and maintaining clean and tidy preparation areas.
Responsibilities
- Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents.
- Assist chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys, and keep preparation areas clean and tidy.
- Monitor stock rotation and comply with company policies, mandatory COSHH, and HACCP guidelines.
- Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
