Overview
A Kitchen Crew member is responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. They work as part of a team to deliver high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Food preparation & cooking: Assist in preparing ingredients (e.g., chopping vegetables, marinating meats, etc.). Cook or assemble dishes following company recipes and food safety guidelines. Ensure food is cooked and presented properly before serving.
- Cleaning & sanitation: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas, cooking stations, and storage areas. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food hygiene standards.
- Stock & inventory management: Assist in checking and stocking kitchen supplies and ingredients. Report low stock levels or expired items to the kitchen supervisor.
